The 2006 Sail Indonesia Rally, with a fleet of 96 yachts, was to be unique in a number of ways. The University of Kupang Scholarship Program was initiated by Rob and Dee of 'Ventana' with all yachts contributing $50.00. The program has continued with the first students graduating in 2011.
Many of the fleet of 96 were to keep in touch over the next decade thanks to the efforts of 'Envy' and many close bonds were formed.
